About Robyn
As I am completing my Master's in Education, I have a passion for teaching and tutoring. Teaching and tutoring is a rewarding career. One good teacher can change a student's perspective for learning. My aim as a tutor is to provide understanding of science for my students, as well as see their confidence grow. As B.B. King said "the beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you".

Lessons are roughly an hour in length, and are catered for students in secondary school as far as third level undergraduate. My methodologies for tutoring include scaffolding techniques, particularly for more calculation-based questions in chemistry, as well as providing an in-depth explanation of more difficult topics. No topic is too difficult as science is for all! I have experience tutoring in college during my undergraduate. I completed Higher Level Biology, and Higher Level Chemistry while in secondary school. During my undergraduate degree, I completed various modules of chemistry such as Analytical, Environmental, Physical, Inorganic and Organic. I also completed modules in biology such as General, Pollution, Ecology and Conservation. These modules help with Climate Action as this subject is new for the Leaving Certificate.
