About Kailee
I taught karate for 6 years while in high school and college. Also while in high school, I began tutoring students in mathematics, writing, and worked with english language learners. During my time at Cabrillo College, I continued to tutor privately, in math and science, and served as a TA in the environmental science, geology, and oceanography classes for two years. Beginning in August 2019, I began working as an outdoor educator for Ventana Wildlife Society, but was laid off in August 2020 due to the pandemic. I hope to return to VWS when it is safe to do so.

I have experience working with youth from various academic, socioeconomic, and neurological backgrounds. I believe that every kid is capable of success when given the opportunity to learn through their unique style. I pride myself in finding and using the techniques that best match each student's needs. I generally spend the first session getting to know a student and identifying their strengths and weaknesses, so that we can create a learning plan together.
