About Alae
Hello! I’m currently a mathematics student at EPFL, one of Europe’s top engineering and science universities. I’ve always had a passion for math and for helping others understand it in a clear, supportive way. I have experience tutoring Gymnase (senior high school) students in Switzerland, and I’ve also passed both the French Baccalaureate (Math specialization) and the SAT, achieving a perfect score in SAT Math. Thanks to this background, I understand the challenges students face — whether they’re building foundations or preparing for exams — and I adapt my teaching style to each student's needs and pace. I tutor in English or French, and I’m committed to helping every student gain confidence, work methodically, and see real progress in math.

I offer personalized math tutoring for primary, middle, and high school students, based on the student’s current level, curriculum, and specific needs.
Each session is structured to:
Identify and fill in any knowledge gaps
Explain concepts clearly, step by step
Work on exercises together to build understanding
Help the student develop problem-solving methods they can apply independently — not just solve one exercise, but learn how to approach any similar problem
I adapt my lessons to the Swiss school system, the French Baccalaureate, and international programs (like SAT math) — based on my own experience with all of them.
I can work with the student’s own class materials or provide custom exercises to support their learning. Sessions are available in English or French.
My goal is to help your child gain confidence, improve their results, and see that math can be logical, clear, and even enjoyable!
