About Rana

I have more than 15 years experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students (estimated 1000 students). I taught nursing students at the associate, bachelor and graduate levels, medical doctors and residents, and graduate public health students. I have good experience teaching community nursing, biostatistics, medical terminology, anatomy, and other public health courses such as health promotion, behavioral epidemiology. I received letters of appreciation for excellence in teaching from nursing department, pediatric residency program, and family and community medicine I have great research experience, can help with scientific writing, statistical analysis, selecting the best statistical approach, dissertation preparation and science publication. In addition, I am actively involved in research. My international job experiences opened many doors to the rest of the world. Needless to say, I gained unbelievable knowledge, experience and skills to work with a greatly diverse population of staff and students.

About the lesson

I am Dr. Rana Jaber, I have Ph.D. in public health/epidemiology. I taught undergraduate and graduate levels most of the health sciences topics. I received many appreciation letters and awards for being a distinguished lecturer. My philosophy of teaching is to foster an environment that promotes an organized study, enthusiasm, motivation, lifelong learning, connection to the real world, student-teacher relationship, and confidence building. With a background culture and experience about the profound impact that one good teacher can have toward a student’s overall development, I always strive to incorporate my teaching beliefs, principles and interests into day-to-day routine activities and overall academic career. I am committed to being the best educator as I can and contribute to shaping the future generations of health professionals. As a faculty member I would plan on applying my teaching philosophy to a wide range of educational environments, settings and courses to enhance students’ critical thinking and understanding of broad concepts, building their confidence, and motivating them in applying classroom knowledge to the real world setting.

The price depends on the complexity of work and subject. It ranges between $80-$120. I will give 5% discount for 10-20 hours of tutoring and 10% percent for >20 hours.
