My name is Shetu Mitra, and I am an ELICOS/ESL educator with a passion for language and literature. With extensive experience teaching in diverse settings, I am dedicated to creating an inclusive, dynamic, and engaging educational experience for all my students.

Qualifications & Expertise:

Educational Background: I hold a Certificate IV in TESOL from the Kangan Institute, Australia, and a Master’s degree in English, specializing in English, American, and Greek literature, from Visva Bharati University, India. My qualifications have been assessed by NOOSR as equivalent to an Australian Master's degree, ensuring that I meet and exceed the rigorous educational standards expected here.
Professional Experience: Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching English language, literature, and history at various educational levels. My roles have ranged from a primary school teacher to a senior school educator, where I have honed my ability to adapt lessons to the needs of diverse student groups.

About the lesson

As an ELICOS/ESL educator with a rich background in English language and literature, my approach to tutoring is deeply rooted in fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. I am dedicated to leveraging my skills in TESOL to benefit students of diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Teaching Techniques and Methodology:

My classes involve interactive activities that not only engage students but also encourage practical usage of language skills. Also recognizing the diverse backgrounds of my students, I integrate culturally relevant materials and examples to make lessons more relatable and enriching. I provide regular, constructive feedback to help students improve their proficiency and confidence in using English.
Each lesson typically lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. This duration allows ample time for a thorough exploration of topics, hands-on activities, and individual feedback.

Qualifications/Experience:
