About Blanca

I am a friendly, patient, and highly experienced ESL tutor with over a decade of experience working with students of all ages, from young children to adults. As someone who learned English as a second language, I have firsthand understanding of the challenges students face and bring empathy, encouragement, and proven strategies into every lesson.

I work with learners of all proficiency levels, including students with learning disabilities, and continuously adapt my teaching approach to match each student’s individual needs, goals, and learning pace. My lessons focus on building confidence while strengthening speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a supportive and comfortable environment.

For school-aged students, I provide structured, academic-focused ESL support aligned with classroom expectations, assignments, and assessments. I help students improve grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and written expression while reinforcing concepts taught in school. Parents can feel confident knowing that lessons are personalized, progress is closely monitored, and instruction is designed to support both academic achievement and long-term language development.

About the lesson

As someone who learned English as my second language, I understand the challenges and frustrations that can come with learning a new language. Because of this, I tailor each lesson to fit the student’s individual learning style and goals.

Not everyone absorbs information the same way, so it is important to adjust and adapt teaching methods as lessons progress to achieve the best results. For younger students, I focus on making lessons fun, engaging, and interactive, while still building strong language foundations. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident and motivated to improve.

ESL for Children Under 12 (Lower Rate Available)
I offer ESL lessons for children under the age of 12 at a reduced rate. Lessons are age-appropriate, engaging, and tailored to your child’s learning level and goals.
