About Natalia
CELTA Cambridge certified English Teacher with experience in teaching adults improve their English.
I gained the Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and have taught a diverse range of students from Europe, Asia and Latin America.
I have travelled the world extensively, especially Latin America, and speak fluent Portuguese.
Due to my Brazilian heritage, it has made me have a huge passion for travelling, socialising with different cultures and speaking different languages. My first experience was teaching in a school in Sao Paulo to adults wanting to learn English for professional development and for travel purposes. The students loved my approach, as they found it fun and very personalised, which made them learn English faster when the lesson is fun and engaging! My classes also help individuals with real life scenarios which i encourage my students to practice daily.

The goal and objectives for my lessons are to create a supportive and personalised learning experience that meets the unique needs and goals of each individual student.
I Understand that each student has different approaches to learning. Some students learn by listening, others learn by doing and others learn with visuals and some have the best of both worlds!
Weather you want to learn English for fun, professional development, business management english languague or to pass the English citizen/settlement test, or If you are writing the IELTS, TOEFL, Or Cambridge exam, I can prepare you adequately to achieve the score you desire.
Here is an overview of my approach:
Needs Assessment: In our initial session, I conduct a comprehensive needs assessment to understand the student's goals, preferred learning style, and any areas of difficulty.
Individualised Lesson Plans: Based on the needs assessment, I design customised lesson plans that address the student's linguistic weaknesses and target their desired areas of improvement.
Clear Communication and Goal Setting: I maintain open and effective communication with my students to establish clear expectations and goals for each session. Together, we set realistic and achievable objectives that align with their long-term language aspirations. This collaborative approach encourages a sense of ownership and motivation in the learning process.
I have a huge cultural awareness and i understand the cultural aspects of a language is crucial for effective communication. I introduce cultural elements, idioms, and expressions within the context of language learning. This approach helps students develop cultural sensitivity, enhances their ability to comprehend native speakers, and enables them to communicate more naturally in real-life situations.
