About Yousaf
Working as an ESL instructor, lecturer, facilitator and IELTS trainer for over 17 years working with different age groups at various socio-cultural environments and achieving the target goals successfully can ensure my credibility as an ESL professional. I strongly believe in time management and achieve my aims within the set time frame. My lessons are always fun and exciting. I always empower my students and listen to their problems very carefully, However, I solve their learning difficulties in a collaborative manner.

I believe in learner autonomy and harmony in the classroom. I usually start my lesson with an interesting Lead-in that motivates the learners and leads them to the context of the lesson with a happy or curious mood. After creating a meaningful context, I present the main focus of the target language. Once my teaching part is done, I hand over to my students to practice the items they have been introduced to, monitoring them closely. I give feedback and concept check. This is a controlled practice stage. After I realize that the learners have owned the language, I give them free practice to recycle what they have learnt. However, I monitor them at a distance. Anyway, different skills have different ways for students to learn them.
