With a family who has moved to other countries, I focus on oral expression. The ability to convey meaning is vital. Business English and accent reduction are also my concentration due to the struggles it presents job seekers. The global language is English and I now work to help form strong healthy relationships for a better future for the entire planet.
As a first generation American I have been exposed to English language learners my entire life. The internet is a powerful tool that allows us to bring language learners and teachers together. Since I have graduated from college I have been involved with education in many roles. From a lobbyist in public education to a teacher in the classroom, I have focused my profession to enriching our youth through academics and social understanding. I have over 30 years of experience teaching. I spent more than 5 years teaching TOEFL, 20 years instructing EFL (including business English) and am TEFL certified with distinction. With Spanish as my second language and my parents native languages as my third and fourth, I know what motivate students to learn another language. My personal mission is to create better understanding among nations through diplomacy and individual relationships.
All of my classes will all be conducted online. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy since no other student is able to book me for that time period allotted as per the scheduled time. If there are extraneous and serious circumstances (with proof of doctor’s note, weather conditions, or natural disasters) half of the session can be made up free of charge. This does not include traffic conditions or time conflicts.
