About Claudio

As an ESL Teacher, I try to teach English, not with the aim of teaching grammar and increasing the vocabulary of the student(s) - accuracy - but rather using the latter as a means to achieve fluency in conversation - fluency.

When teaching Business English, I help students identify their English needs in the context of their professional field (whether vocabulary, speaking, writing, or reading comprehension), and apply that knowledge in "mock sessions"(simulations).

About the lesson

I have been certified by TEFL CAMBRIDGE SCHOOL since 2018. Since then I have been working for an international company that focuses on teaching in Asian countries namely China, in order to train younger generations to a proficient/native level of English, using methods for children , university students who intend to obtain an IELTS certification, as well as professionals, from:
English teachers, quality managers, supervisors, secretaries, professionals in the medical field, etc.

At the same time I have been working in another company that focuses on teaching in the Japanese territory.

With this education system, English is used from day one, avoiding the use of the native language (L1). This method forces the brain to think about the target language (L2) instead of overloading it with L1+L2. The contact with natives allows me to be aware of native English, both in pronunciation and idioms.

fluente e com capacidade para se expressar de modo claro sem interrupções ou correcções de discurso que afectam o significado do que diz. Necessita de corrigir e refinar estruturas gramaticais ao passo que constrói vocabulário e expressão oral que soe natural a um nativo.
