About Stephanie
I am a former university adjunct with nine years teaching experience. I hold an MA in Latin and Ancient Greek as well as a TEFL certification. I possess four years experience teaching K-12 and adult ESL and five years teaching etymology, classical civ and mythology.

For ESL, I focus on a communicative approach, letting the learner speak without interruption. This allows the learner to develop confidence with the language. Feedback occurs after the learner finishes speaking. In addition, my Classical language background grants me insight into the Greco-Latinate roots of the English language; learning those word roots allows for faster vocabulary acquisition.
