About Elena

I am a professional ESL tutor holding a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature, with extensive experience teaching students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. About the lesson

My ESL lessons are carefully designed to help students achieve fluency, confidence, and comprehension in English, catering to learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced. Each session begins with a review of previously learnt material, ensuring that students consolidate their knowledge and build a strong foundation. Lessons focus on all four essential language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing, using engaging, practical exercises to reinforce learning. Listening comprehension is developed through audio recordings, dialogues, podcasts, and videos, improving students’ ability to interpret meaning and understand spoken English. Speaking practice emphasises pronunciation, fluency, and everyday communication, using role-plays, discussions, and conversational exercises to boost confidence. Reading activities focus on comprehension, vocabulary building, and speed, using texts that are both educational and enjoyable. Writing sessions guide students through sentence formation, paragraph development, and essay writing, focusing on clarity, grammar, and coherence. Homework and practice activities reinforce classroom learning, and personalised feedback ensures continuous improvement.
