About Cassie
I received my Master's degree and I have two certifications to teach students from ages 3-17. I have worked with children for the past 7 years and I could not see myself doing anything else! I am punctual and professional. I believe in honesty and open communication which I bring to each class I teach. I believe children and teens learn when they are engaged and having fun. I can't wait to meet you!

I approach teaching from a place of empathy and understanding. It is very important for me to to get to know each of my students. Once I get to know them, I adjust my lessons to fit the needs of the individual student. I have experience teaching children from ages 3-17. I keep my lessons engaging by keeping them current and finding stories that will captivate my students.
A typical lesson with me starts with new vocabulary. The student will learn the definition and how to use the word in sentences. We will read a story and then talk about details. I help my students understand how English works and the grammar behind each sentence. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing that moment when my something clicks with my students and they understand a concept!
