About Athif
I am a British born educator with extensive experience in ESL and general tutoring. I have worked with students from all over the world and have taught ESL in England, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia.
I speak two other languages apart from English (Urdu and Thai) as well as some basic Arabic.
My past students have always commented on my sincerity, personable nature and ability to communicate clearly and effectively. I maintain a friendly but professional approach and am empathetic to other peoples issues.

My approach to tutoring is very student focused and flexible to change.

My methodology to teaching is based upon sincere and honest interactions with the student and gaining mutual respect.
Class content is taught through exposure to new vocabulary in conversation for student confidence and adding variety to their language skills.
Using authentic reading and viewing materials to show context and the use of language and meaning.
Checking lesson comprehension through revision and student feedback.
Lessons are typically an hour long and are aimed at any level (beginner-advanced) and for any age group (4- adult)
