About Kali
Hi, my name is Kalli Jones and I love all things traveling, books, writing, and sports. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Professional Writing and a minor in English literature. My love for reading and writing is what kickstarted my journey with wanting to teach, however, I studied Italian in college and this is what made me decide I wanted to become an ESL teacher. I loved getting to not only understand a new culture and language but truly implementing the knowledge in my day-to-day life and becoming fluent in the language. I knew that I would be able to take my knowledge of grammar and English and apply the same skills and knowledge to teaching. I have taught in Italy in person and online and loved both experiences so much that I want to aid other students who are willing to learn and dedicate their time to learning English.

I'm a very hands-on teacher, and love to see my students exceed. My approach to teaching is to follow how the student adapts and learns and base my lesson surrounding their needs and goals. I've taught young children, who have never spoken English, adults who wanted to gain better vocab, conversation, and reading-based lessons, and more. Teaching is what I love, and I pour all of my heart into my lessons for my students.
