About Rosita
I am a National USTA tennis player as well as a veteran ball room dancer in Salsa and Tango. I am competitive and I stay active. I was born in Nuremburg, Germany on a military base and grew up in a large Roman Catholic Puerto Rican family with six children. I am a first generation American. I grew up on military bases around the world and thus have a passion for international culture. I'm known for cooking great Latin food, but recently I have taken up Moroccan and African food. I am an advanced speaker, reader and writer of Spanish, and going bilingual one day is my goal. I look forward to meeting many international students as I learn and teach them.

My teaching methodology is based on the Language Level. For beginners, I use lots of visuals and TPR while Intermediate and advanced, I introduce new vocabulary, life skills, current events. At the advanced level, writing and reading are taught using grade level English curriculum.
