About Britta
I am a TESL major at Bethel University and have over two years of ESL teaching experience with high school and college students. I have focused on academic writing support and speaking development with my students and have helped them increase their confidence in English. I also hold a teaching license in K-12 ESL from the state of Minnesota.

I use the SIOP teaching method that is student centered, focusing on connecting with the student's strengths, engaging their existing knowledge, and extending their English proficiency with guided practice and positive feedback. I prioritize meeting the student's unique needs in a lesson and use technology and relevant materials to maintain student interest.
