About Luke

I am an ESL tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature and extensive experience teaching students of diverse ages and levels. My lessons are designed to develop fluency, comprehension, and confidence in English, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while reinforcing grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. About the lesson

My ESL lessons are structured to help students build fluency, comprehension, and confidence in English. Each class begins with a review of prior lessons to reinforce learning. Speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills are practised in every session. Vocabulary is taught contextually using articles, texts, and conversation. Grammar is explained clearly and reinforced through exercises. Listening skills are developed with audio recordings, dialogues, and videos. Speaking exercises include pronunciation drills, role-plays, and discussions. Reading exercises improve comprehension, vocabulary, and reading speed. Writing practice covers sentence formation, paragraph writing, and short essays.

Real-life scenarios are incorporated to make learning practical. Lessons are interactive and encourage questions and participation. Homework reinforces skills and concepts outside class. Feedback is provided to track progress and improvement. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and learning style. Confidence-building and effective communication are emphasised.
