About Sarah

I'm a passionate teacher who is motivated by seeing my students achieve their goals and learn to love the English language. I have recently completed a CertTESOL course and expect to receive my certificate within the next month.

While I'm new to English language teaching, I am a qualified secondary school teacher and worked for two years in a school teaching science. I am also a chartered accountant with 14 years of experience working in both the corporate and charity sectors. I have a degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University. My professional experience enables me to offer a unique approach to those wishing to develop their English for business, scientific and educational purposes.

I have spent many years learning Arabic and I know what it is like to be on the other side of learning a language. I can relate to the joy and despair that accompany the journey and will be there to support you along your way.

About the lesson

My lessons will be carefully tailored to you and I offer a first session for free in which I will assess your level and discuss your goals and needs. I will then design a bespoke course of study. I am a patient and kind teacher and believe that learning a language should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

I offer 1:1, pair and small group lessons. If you already know who you would like to study with, great. If you would like to study alongside someone else but don't yet have anyone in mind then let me know and I will do my best to match you with a student at the same level with the same goals.
