About Dr Cheryl

My PhD was conferred with distinction, my master’s degree in counseling psychology was awarded with a cumulative GPA 3.98. I have multiple undergraduate degrees ranging from modern foreign languages, My published Dissertation focuses on family caregivers for combat disabled veteran). Biblical studies including individual & Organizational communications. Along the journey, I also became a “high designer” in the floral industry and now I continue learning with Chaplaincy and Emergency Management Response. Once we learn something…it is ours to share!

I am a certified Montessori teacher modeling the love of learning with each student through self-discipline, self-motivation, and the love of learning. So many times, it is possible to “get stuck” trying to learn what becomes a difficult subject because we just need to look at the subject from a different angle- then the “Aha” moment happens! I have been coaching and teaching high school, college, graduate students from teens to adults. In the past five years. I have taught hundreds of students in thousands of sessions. I have had the honor of working with 75 AP Psychology candidates English composition in high school, college and thesis or dissertations in graduate school as well as Biblical studies.

This is truly my specialty- taking the fog of a long journey and we create a map and I can serve as your compass. You are not alone. I demystify the process of thesis and dissertation development and submission, including quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, you will learn best practices and have fun in the entire process. I earned my PhD in Psychology and bring 30 years of mentoring AP High School, College and graduate students in entrance essays, grant proposal writing, expository preparation and writing. APA, MLA formats.

In project preparation, Socratic critical thinking and organization frees the Learner to focus on style and content. As your Tutor, I assess the skills and thinking process of the Learner and then we tailor our approach, in a client-centered focus, to successfully complete assignments and to enjoy the process. I successfully published peer-reviewed articles and dissertation. For 30 years, I continue mentoring AP High School, College, and graduate students in entrance essays, grant proposal writing, expository preparation, and writing. APA, MLA formats. assignments and to enjoy the process. Experience: hundreds of AP High School, College and graduate/doctorate candidates moved to successful completion. My students stay with me throughout their collegiate and graduate school journeys and even stay connected for certificate coaching. we have a great time as I do not take myself seriously but we both take the subject matter very seriously! I created tools for successful research and organization as well as shortcuts in the tools we use in scholarly writing!. I tutor/coach/mentor students from all over the world. I met Dr. Novas my senior of High School struggling with Psychology and found her on Varsity Tutors to help me out. It is now Superprof but she has helped me understand the concepts that go with general psychology and the psychologist Freud, Carl Rogers, and Maslow who were all known for their certain beliefs with the what a human needs. We had gone over a lot of the fetal development stages and covered the different concepts of psychology using Myers textbook which was beneficial in learning all the concepts of psychology. I appreciate when she would help me look at the terms needed to memorize the vocabulary in psychology.
