I started off just like you -- interested in code, but unsure how to even begin. Over the years, I gained a lot of experience and reflected on the best way to teach what I learned.
My philosophy is: when teaching, make things simple, easy, and fun! I care primarily that you care to learn; once you *want* to learn, everything becomes that much easier.

I care a lot about understanding the fundamentals of the things I teach, without regurgitating knowledge (like a textbook does). I try to boil things down into simple concepts that students can grasp. My metric for success is: can you explain the concept yourself?
I'm happy to teach younger individuals (middle school, high school), as well as introductory college-level courses.
