About Esther

I am an experienced teacher and specialised learning tutor with experience teaching students across primary and secondary education and also tertiary tertiary education. I am passionate about supporting learners with diverse educational needs and helping them develop the skills they need to learn with greater confidence and independence.

My approach focuses on improving attention, concentration, comprehension, retention, and effective learning habits. I understand that every learner is different, so I tailor my teaching methods to each student’s individual strengths, needs, pace, and learning style.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalised, engaging, and designed around the individual learner. I understand that every student learns differently, so I begin by identifying their strengths, learning preferences, areas of difficulty, and pace before selecting the most suitable teaching approach.

With 8 years of teaching experience across primary, secondary, and adult education, including experience supporting students with ADD, ADHD, and dyslexia, I use patient, structured, and flexible strategies to improve attention, comprehension, retention, confidence, and participation.

During each lesson, I create a supportive environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. I use clear explanations, repetition where necessary, practical examples, interactive activities, and personalised exercises to make learning less overwhelming and more enjoyable.

As a meticulous, observant, and detail-oriented tutor, I pay attention to how each learner responds during lessons and adjust my methods accordingly.

My goal is not simply to teach a subject, but to help each learner discover how they learn best, build confidence, and make meaningful academic progress.

Every learner is different, and every lesson should be designed to bring out their best.
