About Nia
Nine years spent performing across national tours and off-Broadway stages have taught me more than any textbook could. Honestly, I simply wish someone had explained the mechanics of singing 8 shows a week to me when I was 18. Navigating the shifts of puberty while building a solid foundation in genre styling for pop, classical, and musical theater is an art form I truly respect.
My ears are sharp when it comes to refining head and chest voice transitions. It is quite rewarding to help students navigate range shifts safely while sharpening their diction, articulation, and microphone technique for any stage. I am currently keeping track of my journey through the lens of the many singers I have mentored over the last 9 years.

You will find our time together moves through exercises that keep your changing voice healthy and flexible while preparing for upcoming exam requirements. Perhaps you find the sudden crack in your range frustrating, but we address those shifts as natural markers of growth rather than obstacles.
My 9 years of performance history means I share specific breathing and warm-up exercise notes for free so you practice effectively at home. These 10 minute warm-ups anchor our sessions, ensuring your instrument stays resilient regardless of the repertoire we choose. You gain practical tools to manage your instrument with confidence during these pivotal teenage years. By the end of our work together, you will feel prepared to sing with ease and clarity.
