About Thibault

My name is Thibault and I am a passionate teacher with a strong academic background in science and engineering. I studied robotics and computational neuroscience at EPFL and currently work as a researcher in oncology. In addition to my scientific work, I am passionate about teaching mathematics, physics, computer science and French and helping pupils and students achieve their learning goals.

About the lesson

~ My teaching approach ~
I adapt my teaching methods to the individual needs of my students and attach great importance to an interactive and practical teaching of the material. I rely on:
- Clear explanations: I use everyday examples to make difficult concepts easier to understand.
Structured approach – we work through the material together step by step to build a solid understanding.
- Individual support – everyone learns differently! That's why I adapt my lessons to the individual learning pace and personal strengths and weaknesses.
- Practical tasks – Together we solve tasks that prepare you for exams or everyday school life.

~ Course of a typical lesson ~
1) Short review: We clarify open questions from the last lesson or from school/university.
2) Developing new concepts: I explain the topic with practical examples and interactive methods.
3) Exercises & Application: We solve tasks together to deepen and apply what we have learned.
4) Questions & Feedback: At the end there is a short reflection and we discuss what comes next.

~ What makes my lessons special? ~
1) Patience & enthusiasm – I not only impart knowledge, but also the joy of learning!
2) Multidisciplinary experience – My technical and linguistic background allows me to make interdisciplinary connections.
3) Linguistic flexibility – I can teach in German, French or English.
