About Ophir
Hi!
My name is Ophir. I live in Los Angeles with my husband Justin & our puppy- Sasha Sashimi!
I grew up internationally, have a BA in Communications & Visual content from Reichman University.
I speak different languages and am always curious to learn more!
I have experience teaching English through the "Jerusalem Post Lite Talk" program (where I was properly trained to do so).
I am passionate about storytelling, scriptwriting, filmmaking & try to incorporate that in the subjects of my lessons as well!
I've worked on prime time television but my first job was being a Flight Attendant! I especially loved traveling around the world and meeting new people! Looking forward to meeting you as well; Helping you achieve your English learning goals!

I believe that learning a new language is immersing yourself in a new culture! It should never be boring- therefore I believe in changing it up according to the student and their goals!
I like teaching through current events & the students interests (I want you to look forward to speaking English with me!).
I make sure to incorporate grammatical lessons as well, according to the students weaknesses & strengths.
I like to set expectations & have an open dialogue with students, so that you can really achieve YOUR goals (because everyone's goals are different).
The lessons are for anyone who wants to enrich their English- whether for business, casually- for fun, or out of interest & curiosity! I would love to help you reach your English goals!
