About Beyza

I'm Beyza Hoca, but you can also call me Bey Hoca. I'm originally Turkish, but I've been living abroad for five years. I completed my undergraduate studies at Yildiz Technical University, one of Türkiye's leading universities. I then completed my master's degree at UTM Malaysia. And now, I'm pursuing my PhD at the same university. I'm married and don't have children yet. I love to enjoy life, which is probably why I have so many hobbies. I enjoy feeling calm and at peace. A cup of freshly brewed coffee, a book, a gentle breeze, and a sunset are the most peaceful places for me. I love cats. Listening to classical music, especially listening to and playing the cello, instantly lifts my mood. I love traveling, walking in nature, and cooking. My hobbies include learning and teaching. Knowledge becomes more beautiful when shared. When I realized that teaching was something that brought me happiness, I decided to become a teacher, and I've been practicing this profession professionally for two years.

About the lesson

MERHABA! Hi! In my lessons, I give priority to my students' wishes and needs. I shape my lessons to develop all the talents, knowledge, and skills of the student in accordance with his/her level, with the desired and missing details. The most important factor in learning a language is actively listening to and speaking the language and putting in the effort. That's why I teach my classes 100% in Turkish. But don't worry! I'm fluent in English. When necessary, we use English and the internet as our primary support. In my lessons, I always make sure to introduce new vocabulary and provide plenty of speaking, listening, and writing practice, combined with those words and learned grammar. Learning a language is a long process. While developing these skills, I make the course effective and attractive for you by changing the format of the practices to avoid monotony. Sometimes we improve our Turkish by listening to Turkish music together in the lessons, and sometimes we watch certain sections from TV series and movies and comment on the events taking place, the topics discussed, and the grammar learned. I would be happy to guide you in the process of learning Turkish, for all age groups and all language levels. DERSTE GÖRÜŞÜRÜZ! See you in class!
