About Lisa
First sessions focus on assessing your current grasp of French grammar. Your linguistic baseline is the starting point for all our work. We will use my library of vocabulary and grammar notes during these sessions. This access is provided free to help you study outside our time together.
My CELTA training informs how I break down complex concepts. Those 13 years of teaching have taught me that clarity is essential. I want to make the French language feel like a natural part of your daily life. The materials I provide will streamline your practice sessions.

Immigrant households often require a bridge between two distinct linguistic worlds. Navigating this path for 13 years has shaped my perspective as a coach.
I have supported countless learners through the complexities of bilingual life. My MA from McGill University grounded my technical knowledge. I specialize in writing skills and vocabulary building. I often guide students through accent and intonation or nasal sounds.
My work extends to business French and interview preparation. Many intermediate learners and relocation clients find my methods effective. I keep my approach calm and structured to ensure steady progress.
