About Jerry
Complexity often hides behind simple errors. Spreadsheets should be transparent. Most of my students struggle with messy data that prevents them from drawing clear conclusions in their daily work. During our sessions, we address these bottlenecks by cleaning your inputs and building logical frameworks that prevent future mistakes.
I provide a weekly challenge task with feedback to ensure that you apply what we cover immediately. You will learn to automate repetitive tasks through basic macros while ensuring your pivot charts tell a compelling story. We look at the data architecture together to ensure you understand why a function works rather than just how it works.

Do you find yourself wondering how to bridge the gap between basic data entry and high-level analytical modeling? I guide office staff and job seekers through the complexities of the data stack by grounding every technical concept in practical business application.
Having earned an MS Business Analytics from the Wharton School at UPenn, I focus on the transition from simple spreadsheets to automated workflows. My 12 years of experience have taught me that data cleaning and effective use of date and time functions are the true precursors to success. I leverage INDEX and MATCH alongside text functions to handle messy datasets with precision and speed. Error handling and SUMIFS and COUNTIFS formulas provide the structure needed for any robust model.
Pivot charts and macros and VBA basics allow for the efficiency required in modern corporate environments. These tools form the backbone of my own analytical journey which started a decade ago in the field.
