About Ross
My interest in Excel developed from recognizing its power for organizing, analyzing, and presenting data efficiently. I earned a B.Sc in Information Systems and an M.Sc in Data Analytics, acquiring expertise in spreadsheets, data modeling, and automation. Over 9 years, I have guided students from beginner to advanced levels, helping them build practical skills, problem-solving abilities, and independent proficiency in Excel.
I teach through structured lessons, applied exercises, and real-world examples. Many learners struggle with formulas, functions, or workflow optimization, so I provide stepwise guidance, illustrative demonstrations, and hands-on practice to make learning accessible, practical, and rewarding. Lessons are customized to student goals, pace, and prior experience, fostering confidence, competence, and efficiency.
Outside teaching, I engage in data projects, analytics research, and productivity workflow studies. Teaching Excel is deeply satisfying because I see learners transform uncertainty into mastery, gaining the ability to analyze, visualize, and manipulate data with clarity and confidence. Supporting students as they become independent, efficient, and confident Excel users is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
