About Sona
I hold a Master’s degree in Information Systems and have 10 years of teaching experience helping students learn Excel and data-related skills. My interest in Excel began with understanding how data can be organized and used effectively, which later developed into a passion for teaching.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and practical learning. I explain each feature in a simple way so students can understand and apply it easily. I use real examples, step-by-step guidance, and hands-on practice to support steady improvement. I also adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and comfort level to create a supportive learning environment.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy working with data and exploring new features in Excel. Teaching Excel is very rewarding because I see students become more confident and efficient over time. Helping them build useful skills motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and enthusiasm.

Learning Excel becomes easier when students understand how to use tools in real situations instead of just memorizing formulas. My lessons are designed to build strong skills in data entry, formatting, formulas, charts, and basic data analysis through clear and simple explanations. I guide students step by step so they can understand how spreadsheets work and how different functions are applied. I also include practical exercises that help learners use Excel confidently for both academic and everyday tasks. Each session is interactive and supportive, allowing students to practice without hesitation and improve gradually.
I organize lessons based on each student’s level and goals to ensure steady and balanced progress. Beginners focus on basic spreadsheet use, simple formulas, and formatting. Intermediate learners work on advanced formulas, data sorting, filtering, and chart creation. Advanced students focus on data analysis, automation, and solving real-world problems using Excel. Practice tasks, guided exercises, and regular feedback are included to strengthen understanding and improve performance over time.
Excel lessons also help students develop accuracy, logical thinking, and efficiency in handling data. As they improve, they gain confidence in using Excel independently. Many learners begin to see how useful Excel is in real life. My goal is to make Excel learning simple, practical, and confidence-building for every student.
