About Andrada
Mathematics has always been one of my strongest passions. I achieved a Grade 9 at GCSE and A grades in both A-Level Maths and Further Maths, before going on to earn a First-Class Honours degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s in Psychology (Distinction).
This academic journey has deepened my appreciation for the logical, problem-solving mindset that maths develops — a skill that underpins both science and psychology. With over five years of tutoring experience, I’ve helped students move from uncertainty to confidence by simplifying complex ideas and turning abstract concepts into clear, structured understanding.
I love showing students that maths isn’t just about numbers — it’s about reasoning, creativity, and seeing patterns in the world around us. My goal is to make maths accessible, enjoyable, and genuinely rewarding for every learner.

My maths lessons focus on building both understanding and confidence — turning difficult concepts into clear, logical steps. I tailor every session to the student’s individual goals, whether that’s improving grades, mastering exam technique, or developing long-term problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson begins with a short review or warm-up to reinforce key foundations, followed by targeted practice in areas such as algebra, geometry, or applied problem-solving. I use structured explanations, guided examples, and exam-style questions to ensure each topic is fully understood before moving on.
Having achieved Grade 9 at GCSE and A grades in both A-Level Maths and Further Maths, I know what it takes to succeed at every stage — from understanding the basics to tackling advanced questions with confidence.
I also incorporate real-world applications and intuitive methods to show how mathematical thinking connects to science, technology, and everyday reasoning. My goal is to make maths not just easier, but genuinely enjoyable and empowering for every student.

Andrada is an incredible tutor with exceptionally high standards and deep subject knowledge across the sciences.
