About Brooks
I have been teaching Excel for 6 years, helping students from different backgrounds understand and use spreadsheets with confidence. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, where I developed strong skills in data handling, reporting, and analysis. My academic journey helped me see how powerful Excel can be when used correctly, and I enjoy sharing that knowledge with my students.
My teaching style is simple, patient, and structured. I believe that anyone can learn Excel when concepts are explained clearly and practiced regularly. I focus on making lessons easy to follow, using examples that connect with real-life situations. I always encourage questions and make sure students feel supported at every step of their learning journey.
Outside of teaching, I continue to work with data, exploring new tools and improving my skills. This helps me bring updated knowledge into my lessons. Teaching Excel is meaningful to me because I see how it helps students grow in confidence and independence. Watching someone go from confusion to clarity is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Excel becomes powerful when students move beyond basic formulas and begin understanding how data can tell a story. In my lessons, I focus on building that understanding step by step. We explore functions, formulas, sorting, filtering, and formatting in a way that feels simple and practical. I make sure every learner sees how Excel is used in real work situations, so the learning always feels useful and relevant. My goal is to remove confusion and replace it with confidence through clear explanation and guided practice.
Each lesson is designed based on your current level and your goals. Beginners start with the basics like cell structure, simple formulas, and data entry. Intermediate learners move into logical functions, pivot tables, charts, and dashboards. Advanced students work on automation, data modeling, and efficient workflows using tools like macros. I include hands-on exercises, real examples, and step-by-step support so that every concept becomes easy to apply.
Over time, students begin to think differently about data. They become more organized, more analytical, and more confident in handling tasks. Many learners start using Excel independently for projects, work, or studies. My aim is to help you feel comfortable and capable with Excel, so you can use it as a tool for solving problems and making smart decisions.
