About Yolanda
I discovered my passion for Excel during undergraduate studies in Information Technology, fascinated by how spreadsheets can simplify complex data analysis and workflow automation. Pursuing an M.Sc in Data Analytics deepened my expertise in advanced Excel applications, data visualisation, and automation. Over 9 years, I have taught learners across academic and professional levels, guiding them to excel in data handling, reporting, and analytical thinking.
I adopt a hands-on, applied teaching approach, combining step-by-step explanations, interactive exercises, and real-world examples. Students are encouraged to explore, experiment, and problem-solve independently while receiving structured guidance and feedback to reinforce learning.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring new Excel features, automation tools, and data analysis techniques to keep lessons current and relevant. Integrating modern, practical examples inspires students to apply skills beyond the classroom. Witnessing learners progress from basic functions to creating complex, efficient, and insightful spreadsheets is the most rewarding part of my career.

My Excel lessons focus on transforming learners into confident and efficient spreadsheet users. Advanced learners focus on macros, VBA programming, dynamic dashboards, and workflow automation.
