About Helena
My interest in Excel began when I recognized its potential to transform raw data into actionable insights. I pursued a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Data Analytics, gaining comprehensive knowledge of data handling, computation, and visualization techniques. Over the past 9 years, I have guided learners at every level, helping them move from basic skills to advanced mastery in practical and professional contexts.
I emphasize clarity, stepwise guidance, and real-world application in my teaching. Lessons integrate scenario-based exercises, visual demonstrations, problem-solving projects, and hands-on practice, enabling learners to understand not only how Excel works but why each technique is important. I encourage experimentation, independent thinking, and confidence-building through repeated practice and applied exercises.
Beyond teaching, I remain engaged in data analytics, automation, and software developments, which enriches the content and relevance of my lessons. Teaching Excel is deeply rewarding because I see learners grow in competence, confidence, and efficiency, discovering the real-world power of data-driven decision-making. Lesson structure is tailored to individual levels. Beginners focus on basic spreadsheet navigation, simple calculations, and elementary charts. Advanced learners engage in automation through macros, advanced data analysis, dashboard creation, and integrating multiple Excel features for real-world applications.
