About Monique
I am a music specialist, trained in the Hungarian Kodály pedagogy of music education and choral singing. I have worked in music education from Kindergarten to year 12 and have also worked with the Australian Boys Choir and Australian Girls Choir. I am currently Head of Music at a Private Girls School in Melbourne. I plan to move to the Byron Bay Hinterland to complete my research Ph.D. 'Enabling Creativity Through Self Knowing' and am enjoying my last 6 months in Melbourne before the move.

My lessons teach music theory through practice, skills and technique in order to learn the language of music. I teach music literacy and theory through singing and piano. My lessons are ideal for learning music at an excellent level. You will leave my sessions having not only a well-developed knowledge of theory but singing and piano playing as well.
