About Ikechukwu

I have tutored (one-on-one) 10 students spanning a 3 year period. Thus far, all my students have not only become better at the respective subjects but have achieved better grades, with all the undergraduates I have tutored moving up to the next year with no resits.

About the lesson

I am an engineer with a PhD in mechanical engineering. I have experience in both one-on-one and class tutoring for maths, physics, chemistry and general engineering courses.

Through my formal education (chemical engineering (B.Eng), oil and gas engineering (MSc.) and mechanical engineering (PhD), I have come to fully understand how sciences tie up with application in this wonderful journey called engineering. It is with this knowledge that I tutor secondary school students and also undergraduates.

I deliver my tutorials by breaking down the complex into the simple. This is done by pinning relationships between what is being taught and what the student experiences in their everyday life. So far, this methodology has yielded only positive results. I am easy going and prefer to work at a retentive pace, that way the student not only improves but has a concrete understanding of the topic.
