About Nova
I am a dedicated Violin tutor with 7 years of experience, having successfully guided around 150 students across various age groups and skill levels.
My teaching journey has helped me understand how to support beginners who are just starting as well as advanced learners refining their performance skills.
I focus on building a strong technical foundation through correct posture, proper bow grip, finger accuracy, tone development, and rhythm control. I believe that once the basics are strong, students can confidently progress to more expressive and advanced pieces.
My lessons are structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to each student’s pace and aspirations. I provide clear guidance on how to practise efficiently at home so improvement continues beyond class time.
My unique strength lies in my patience and ability to explain complex techniques in simple, practical steps. My goal is to nurture disciplined, confident, and passionate violinists who enjoy learning and performing.

My teaching methodology for violin is based on clear communication, structured learning, and adapting to each student’s individual needs.
I begin by understanding the student’s background, goals, and learning style so that I can design lessons that suit them best. Some students respond well to visual demonstrations, while others learn better through listening and repetition. I adjust my approach accordingly.
I focus strongly on fundamentals such as posture, bow grip, finger accuracy, tone production, rhythm control, and intonation. Along with violin practice, I teach music theory, scales and arpeggios, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and basic harmony.
These subjects help students understand the logic behind the music they play. I use real-life examples such as recital preparation, exam planning, and orchestra coordination to connect theory with practice. My goal is to build confident, technically strong, and expressive musicians.
