About Marina
I have tutored English for around a year, teaching children in marginalized communities with little-to-no access to English-learning support. At my school, I am the vice president of debate club, where I trained beginner-level students for competitions. I frequently participate in math contests and was in the top 10% of Math Caribou 2021-2022. Throughout my academic career, I have excelled in the subjects of math, with a 95%+ average in the subject.

Hello, my name is Marina and I teach elementary students mathematics. I work with each student, creating a unique lesson plan that fits accordingly to their learning-style. All of my curriculums are customized and coordinated to my specific student and incorporates problem-solving, communication, and out-of-box thinking strategies. A typical lesson plan involves starting exercises (short problems, taking up homework, etc.) we then move on to the 'core' of the lesson, and end with 'level-up' questions or lesson-based activity. All of my lesson plans are adjusted to the student, and can vary depending on the curriculum set.
