About Somi
I am an experienced Guitar tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience, helping students from school, college, and professional backgrounds build strong musical skills. My teaching approach is simple, flexible, and student-focused. I start with the basics like chords, strumming patterns, and finger exercises, and gradually move to advanced techniques based on the student’s progress.
I make sure every concept is clearly understood before progressing. Along with Guitar, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear training, and song practice. These subjects help students improve their musical knowledge and confidence.
I am patient and supportive, and I create a comfortable learning environment. My goal is to make learning guitar simple, effective, and enjoyable.

I follow a well-balanced teaching methodology for Guitar that focuses on Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility. I believe that every student has a unique learning style, so I make sure my teaching approach is adaptable and student-centred. I begin by building a strong foundation in the basics, including chords, scales, rhythm, and strumming techniques. Through clear communication, I explain each concept in a simple way and provide regular feedback to ensure steady improvement.
Creativity plays a key role in my teaching. I use a mix of exercises, real songs, and practical activities to make learning enjoyable. I also encourage students to experiment with music and express themselves through playing. This helps them stay motivated and develop confidence.
Flexibility is important in my classes, as I work with students of different ages and skill levels. I design lesson plans based on individual goals and learning speed. I also include related subjects like music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to give students a deeper understanding of music. My goal is to create a positive and supportive environment where students can learn comfortably and progress effectively.
