About Anne
I am an experienced piano tutor with 8 years of teaching students from school, college, and working professional backgrounds. I believe that learning piano is a journey that combines technical mastery, musical understanding, and personal expression.
My teaching methodology focuses on patience, clear communication, and personalized instruction. I assess each student’s abilities, learning style, and goals, then create lessons that build strong fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading.
I also teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to develop complete musicianship. Lessons are interactive, creative, and engaging, often including song-based practice, improvisation, and performance opportunities.
I help students overcome challenges, build confidence, maintain consistent practice routines, and cultivate a lifelong love for music. My aim is to provide a positive, motivating, and supportive environment where students can enjoy learning and achieve their full musical potential.

I believe piano learning should be expressive, meaningful, and enjoyable. Communication is at the heart of my methodology—I listen to students’ goals, challenges, and preferences to make lessons relevant and effective. Flexibility ensures that lessons are tailored to the student’s individual pace and learning style. Alongside piano, I teach related subjects such as music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and ear development. This approach develops both technical skill and artistic expression, helping students become confident, creative, and well-rounded musicians.
