About Jade

With 9+ years of tutoring experience, I have helped around 150 High School and College students build a strong foundation in Spanish. Teaching is something I truly enjoy because every student brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed together. My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning clear, enjoyable, and meaningful.

I believe students understand a language best when they actively use it. My lessons include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing through conversations, discussions, language games, and practical exercises. Every lesson is adjusted to suit the student's pace so they can learn comfortably without feeling pressured.

I also encourage students to explore Spanish culture, traditions, and common expressions because language and culture are closely connected. Regular revision sessions and constructive feedback help students recognise their strengths while improving weaker areas.

Helping students become confident speakers has been one of the greatest achievements of my teaching career. Many learners have improved academically, gained higher examination scores, and developed stronger communication skills. Watching them succeed inspires me every day.

I believe learning Spanish should be a rewarding experience that develops confidence as well as knowledge. My mission is to guide every student towards success while making each lesson engaging, supportive, and enjoyable.

About the lesson

Teaching Spanish for me is about more than just language; it’s about building confidence, cultural awareness, and lifelong skills. I emphasise Accountability, helping students take responsibility for their learning, set clear goals, and track progress regularly.

Integrity ensures that I maintain honest and ethical teaching practices, providing clear guidance, constructive feedback, and personalised attention to every student. I integrate Flexibility into my lessons, adapting approaches, materials, and activities to suit different learning styles, ages, and proficiency levels.

Through Communication, I foster an interactive classroom where students are encouraged to speak, ask questions, and practise real-life scenarios, improving fluency and comprehension. Maintaining a Positive learning environment is central to my philosophy; I motivate students, celebrate progress, and turn challenges into opportunities for growth.

Additionally, I incorporate related subjects such as grammar, vocabulary, writing skills, and cultural insights, helping students gain a well-rounded understanding of Spanish. My goal is to equip learners with the practical skills, confidence, and passion they need to communicate effectively and enjoy their journey in mastering the Spanish language.
