Apart from my formal education, I have rich design experience in the semiconductor industry with Intel, Conexant and Analog Devices. In the aerospace industry, I have worked with Boeing, TRW Inc., and Hughes Aircraft Company in similar roles.

In academia, I have about 20 years of experience with tutoring/teaching companies, universities and corporate education. More recently, I have been teaching through ZOOM and earlier on with SKYPE. I can provide in-person flexible education and, if you get COVID19 or some other contagious disease, we can switch to ZOOM. We have the plan B ready !

About the lesson

For most tutoring assignments, we will follow the class. We will do all the reading and understand the text and then attempt problems. Sometimes, I solve half the problem, letting the student do the rest of the work and correcting him/her if she makes a mistake. The objective is to impart knowledge and confidence. In other cases, the student solves the problem, while I watch, making sure he is not making a mistake.

The basic philosophy is to make the student learn and to encourage him, should he make a mistake.

Most students who have academic goals do well. In high school and college, if a student has a goal to become a "doctor" he will be more motivated. In fact, all professional degrees require considerable effort. If we can direct a student towards professional education, he will become self motivated.

I take all students at all levels, provided they are not learning handicapped. It is through hard work and persistent effort that success is attainable.

Therefore, we encourage these values, and see our students succeed.
