About Callie
I have no official experience thus far, however, I have unofficially tutored friends and classmates throughout school, college, and university.
throughout my education, I was usually one of the first students to finish assigned work. It became almost routine to help those sat around me if they were stuck on any question.

I have recently graduated from Exeter University with a 2.1 in BSc Physics. I am keen to tutor students who either have a passion for the sciences and want to receive top grades or those who are maybe struggling with the sciences and haven't found a passion for them yet.
I believe the sciences are taught well through analogies and examples that people can relate to, particularly when dealing with more abstract concepts.
I am good at explaining things in visual or analogous ways that so far have helped people understand topics that they had previously avoided, such as algebra.
Lesson structures would depend on the student and their needs. If the student is already receiving high grades then the lessons may be more geared towards discussing the most strange or difficult questions, breaking them down to concepts that are already known. Similarly, for students who are getting to know the first concepts, a lesson could be spent entirely on thoroughly understanding one question, why the answer is what it is, and not just how to get there. That way, should a similar question come up, the student would hopefully be able to do it unaided.
