• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  I specialize in Biology and Chemistry, focusing on both conceptual clarity and exam preparation. My main areas include Human Biology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Organic & Inorganic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry.
  
  I teach students preparing for NEET, JEE, MCAT, BMAT, UCAT, IB, and AP exams, as well as higher secondary and undergraduate levels. My approach is to simplify complex topics using diagrams, flowcharts, and real-life examples, so students not only memorize but truly understand the concepts.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My motivation to teach began during my medical studies, when classmates often asked me to explain difficult Biology and Chemistry topics. The joy I felt when they understood clearly gave me confidence and a sense of purpose.
  
  Over time, I realized that teaching allows me to share my knowledge, guide students toward their goals, and make a real difference in their academic journey. The success of my students—like one who cleared the UCAT exam—continues to inspire me to keep teaching with passion.

• How does your work help society?

  Teaching is more than just sharing knowledge—it helps shape future professionals, responsible citizens, and confident individuals. By guiding students in Biology and Chemistry, especially for competitive exams like NEET, JEE, MCAT, IB, and AP, I help them achieve their academic dreams, which in turn contributes to society by preparing skilled doctors, scientists, and informed learners.
  
  Additionally, my teaching encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love for science, which empowers students to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  If I had to choose a role model for my teaching, it would be my favorite teachers and mentors during my medical studies. They not only had deep subject knowledge but also knew how to inspire curiosity, patience, and confidence in their students.
  
  I strive to follow their example by making my classes interactive, concept-driven, and supportive, so every student feels motivated to learn and achieve their goals. Their dedication taught me that great teaching is about guiding students, not just delivering content.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about medical science, psychology, and personal development, which helps me stay updated and bring new insights into my classes. I also like exploring poetry and motivational literature, as it inspires me to guide students not only academically but also in building confidence and focus.
  
  Additionally, I enjoy mentoring and interacting with students informally, which allows me to understand their perspectives and make learning more engaging.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  One of my most memorable experiences as a tutor was when a student (STEVEN BUNGA ) I was mentoring successfully cleared the UCAT exam, despite initially struggling with time management and test strategies. Together, we worked on building conceptual clarity, practice routines, and exam techniques.
  
  Seeing the student gain confidence, improve scores, and achieve their goal was incredibly rewarding. Moments like this remind me why I chose teaching – it’s not just about subjects, it’s about empowering students to reach their full potential.
