About Enda
I am currently a maths teacher with experience with GCSE and A level. I worked fulltime in 2 universities as a maths tutor. I have been giving 1 to 1 tutorials since returning to education in 2010. I have a first class honours degree in mathematical science. I have worked in research in applied mathematics in the area of cryptography

I am a friendly approachable person who encourages pupils to have confidence tackling a problem. If we were "correct" all the time maths would be boring. Maths is about exploration, pattern searching, making connections, making errors, and most importantly learning from those errors.
My approach to tutoring is for us both to firstly identify any gaps of knowledge that should be there. We will build a strong foundation upon which we can build. With the new curriculum challenges, in particular the strong focus on problem solving, it is important that we build on these skills as early and as often as possible.
