About Milo
Hello I’m Milo, a third‑year Neuroscience student at the University of Manchester. I'm currently completing a year in industry at the Biodiscovery Institute at the University of Nottingham where I work alongside academics in a specialist research group. My scientific interests centre on the brain, but I’m equally fascinated by genetics and evolutionary biology. Outside the lab, I enjoy bouldering, hiking with friends, and unwinding with video games.

I have 165+ hours experience teaching Biology with excellent results from my students. My aim is to help students improve by making science feel approachable through finding the topics they are interested in, then linking them to the topics they dislike. I understand how daunting tutoring can feel, having gone through the process myself both in my GCSEs and A-Levels but I hope to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you're encouraged to ask questions and see mistakes as part of the learning process, not something to fear. My lessons last 1 hour and are available online. I offer teaching for all UK exam boards.
