About Rachel

I am a great advocate of the AAT profession and qualification, AAT are making accountants for the real world, let me support them in this mission by allowing me to help you. Completing my own AAT journey with first-time passes in all exams in early 2023, sharing my expertise and knowledge with you as students is something that I show great passion in. As the current Branch Chair of AAT for my region, I love to share my excitement with current students who are striving to achieve this qualification. I have mentored many students, delivered hundreds of lessons, and I have achieved a track record of successful pass rates. I understand what the AAT looks for and I am dedicated to helping you achieve the same success. In addition to my AAT studies, I have hands-on experience working in a busy accounts department and have served as a treasurer for various charity accounts. This practical experience has given me a deep understanding of AAT's accounting principles, thus wherever possible I will always link your sessions to real world examples hopefully enabling you to understand topics to the best of your ability.

I was further recognised for my efforts and dedication to the AAT profession through having been shortlisted for the AAT Excellence Award.

About the lesson

Each session will be customised to address your specific needs as the learner, targeting key areas of difficulty for you. I emphasise not only rote memorisation but also a deep understanding of the reasoning behind complex topics. These sessions are designed for individuals pursuing their AAT qualifications.

Great lesson, I believe if you get to grips and nail the double entry system using the T accounts for accruals and prepayment you will find this topic suddenly click as it becomes more visual to you.
