About Vivian

Hello! My name is Vivian, and I am a passionate and dedicated Accounting and Business tutor with practical experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial reporting. I understand that every student learns differently, so I provide patient, personalised lessons that focus on understanding rather than simply memorising information.

My lessons are practical, interactive, and structured around each student's individual needs and goals. I break down difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps and use practical examples and exercises to help students apply what they learn. I can assist high school and university students with Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, Financial Accounting, and Management Accounting, as well as learners preparing for tests and examinations.

Students can expect a supportive and encouraging learning environment where they are comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn. My goal is not only to help students improve their marks, but also to build their confidence, problem-solving skills, and understanding of the subject.

Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an upcoming examination, or simply want to strengthen your academic performance, I would be happy to support you on your learning journey.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is patient, practical and student-focused. I believe students learn best when concepts are explained clearly, step-by-step, and supported by practical examples. As an experienced accounting professional and ACCA professional, I bring real-world experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, financial reporting and Excel into my lessons. I teach Accounting, Business Studies and Economics to beginners, school learners, university students and anyone looking to strengthen their knowledge or prepare for tests and examinations. A typical lesson is tailored to the student's level and goals and includes explanation of concepts, worked examples, questions, exercises and feedback. I encourage students to ask questions and participate actively so they develop confidence and the ability to solve problems independently. I can teach in **English and Shona**, and I offer both online and in-person lessons where applicable.
