About Lelo
Hello, my name is Lelo. I have been tutoring for over two years and have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. My passion for teaching began when I started helping friends prepare for important exams and assisting my siblings with their homework. This experience inspired me to pursue tutoring more seriously as a profession. I currently tutor Economics at Stellenbosch University, where I am also completing my Honors degree in Economics. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Pretoria, where I majored in Economics and Statistics. Alongside Economics, I also offer private Afrikaans tutoring. I have studied Afrikaans for over 13 years and have been tutoring it privately for more than two years, helping students build confidence and fluency in the language. My academic journey has given me a strong foundation in both theory and application, allowing me to support students at different learning levels. I am passionate about creating a supportive learning environment where students can grow and achieve their academic goals. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, and I love visiting the beach whenever I get the chance.
