About Maayan
I am a highly motivated and hard working individual who strives to provide the best for my students. I have been teaching students for over 3 years and have had consistent success teaching maths english and science at GCSE level, helping students to achieve their potential. Having taken the reformed GCSE and A-Level courses I have first hand knowledge of the changes and challenges to the system which I am keen to share with students to give them the upper hand and achieve the best grades.
I have extensive experience mentoring and tutoring maths, science and english with much success.I have a confident and approachable teaching style in which I work to build a rapport with students and cater each lesson to students’ needs and use a variety of different methods such as whiteboards, worksheets and online material to maximise learning.
Furthermore I have lots of experience teaching in a school and therefore I have gained several skills which make me a very effective teacher.
I have been teaching online for a year and work to ensure that my online lessons are of the same quality as my lessons in person. I use lots of methods and programs to make online lessons as open and enjoyable as in person.
